Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Gaven during the 2003 season. The youngster joined the side this season as a 16 year old and made 14 appearances as the Metrostars finished 3rd in the Eastern Conference to reach the Playoffs before losing out to New England Revolution in the first round. He scored once in a controversial win over DC United when coach Bob Bradley used him in a loophole concerning the goalkeeper fourth-substitution rule. He stayed on for two more years in NYC before joining Columbus Crew in 2006.
