Details - Limited edition 'Stars and stripes' pre-match shirt released to celebrate the long-standing, historic ties with the country. Released when former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez took over as Everton manager following the departure of Carlo Ancelotti. After a promising start to the season, Everton fell down the table as the season progressed with Benitez eventaully being sacked in January, being replaced by Frank Lampard. After Lampard took over as manager Everton's form remained poor, but 4 wins in the final 8 games of the season were enough to avoid relegation to the Championship.
