Player - Experienced shot stopper and New York native Paul Grafer #30
Features
Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Grafer during the 2001 season. The former Colorado Rapids man entered his second season with the Metrostars and made no appearances as the side finished 2nd in the Eastern Conference and reached the Playoffs before narrowly losing out to LA Galaxy. Grafer was backup to Tim Howard who started every game during the 2001 season. He had joined the side from Long Island Rough Riders in 2000 and never really held down a spot in the starting XI but was adored by the fans for his trademark black jogging bottoms that he wore instead of shorts in matches.
