Despite a 1-0 win over Costa Rica in the sides opening game, defeats to Switzerland and Brazil saw the Serb's finish 3rd in Group E and fail to advance to the knockout stages of the competition. The same shirt design was used for the sides Nations League campaign where they topped Group C4 without losing a game.
