The defender was in his second season with the Gers after joining from St Mirren in 2007 and made 34 appearances in all competitions this season as the side went on to win a Scottish FA Cup and SPL double. He stayed on for another 4 seasons in Glasgow before joining English Championship outfit Blackpool in 2012 and went on to have stints with Rotherham and Kilmarnock.
