The one time Japan international made 36 appearances this campaign, scoring once as JEF United finished 6th. He made his JEF debut in 2000 and enjoyed an 8-year spell with the side before moving to Kyoto Sanga in 2008. Yūto spent two seasons in Kyoto before returning to JEF for his second spell, where he would play another ten seasons in J.League 2 before hanging up his boots in 2019.
